Once the client becomes determined to leave and go somewhere else, the unwitting client is intentionally manipulated, mislead and deliberately misdirected to another “front” hosting company which is still owned & managed by the SAME parent company Endurance International Group.
EIG's frustrated client will simply be redirected to an elaborate, high-end FAKE COMPARISON CHART (that EIG controls, owns and manipulates) which will then switch the unwitting client to EIG's OTHER shell (hosting) name - but NOTHING HAS CHANGED except maybe the BILLING & BILLING NAME!

Just when you think #HostGator
can't get any worse, something like this happens. my sites were down
for a week, HostGator couldn't explain what happened and when it's all
said and done, admits it's their fault.
What's worst is that they extorted me into registering for #SiteLock which did nothing except for charge me. Hell, SiteLock wasn't even required, as there was nothing wrong with my files or SQL to begin with.
This brings up the questions of a conspiracy between SiteLock and HostGator (as well as EIG by ownership). This is something that I've been doing some digging around into and is going to be the subject of my next blog post.
